How does speed dating actually work?
You get a series of short one-on-one conversations, usually four to eight minutes each, with a host keeping the room moving. Afterwards you mark who you would like to see again, and you are put in touch with anyone who marked you back. You never have to reject anyone to their face.
Do I need to bring anyone with me?
No. Most people arrive on their own, which is the whole point of a hosted format: the structure does the introducing so you are not standing at the edge of a room hoping someone talks to you.
Who runs these events?
