Matchmaking

Stop running events on spreadsheets and sticky notes.

One engine pairs the right people across speed dating, friending, networking, mixers, group dinners, and pitch nights. Same playbook for every format, custom questions, custom rules, your brand on every screen.

Trusted by IRL event brands from Los Angeles to Charlotte, Indianapolis, and beyond.
The engine

One matchmaking engine. Six event formats.

We are an event company first, a tech company second. TNFM handles the parts of a night that always go wrong: the paper matching, the lost passwords, the attendee who shows up forty minutes late. Singles night, founder dinner, pitch-a-friend evening, all the same engine underneath.

01 · Compatibility

Smarter pairings, not random chairs.

Our algorithm pairs attendees on the custom profile questions you design: orientation, deal-breakers, interests, industry, whatever makes your event work. Hard rule that every group needs a valid pair, with two-phase fill so nobody gets stranded.

02 · Live event console

Run the night, not the spreadsheet.

Start, advance, and end rounds from one screen. Real-time guest list, table assignments pushed to every device, and built-in fixes for the curveballs: late check-ins, no-shows, lost phones.

03 · Match notifications

Real chemistry, no follow-up chaos.

After the event, attendees mark their interest in the people they met. Mutual matches get notified automatically, exchange details, on your timing, under your brand. Nobody leaves the venue wondering what happens next.

Speed Dating

Speed Dating

Curate love connections for every orientation. Customize the profile questions that actually matter, decide how many rounds to run, and let the engine handle the rest. Match notifications go out when you say so, usually an hour or two after the venue empties out.

Gender / pronoun aware pairing rules
Hard "every group has a valid pair" guarantee
Deal-breaker filters that block bad pairings
Per-pairing match-score for organizer review
Late check-in support, no destroyed rounds

Speed Friending

Speed Friending

It is like speed dating, but for friendships. Because making friends as an adult is hard. Pair people for a few rounds of real conversations with people they actually have something in common with, instead of an hour of small talk with whoever is next to them.

Interest-based matching (hobbies, life stage, vibe)
Private in-app notes during and after rounds
Skill-swap prompts, teach and learn
Optional post-event connection exchange
Tiered profile questions get deeper over time
Same engine, different rules, fully tunable

Speed Networking

Speed Networking

Networking events are usually a mess. Stuck in one conversation while the person you actually needed to meet is across the room. Tailor industry-specific questions and pair people accordingly. (Directors meet cinematographers and writers, not interns trying to pick their brain.)

Industry, role and seniority tags
"Looking for" / "Offering" matching
QR-code check-in and geo-fenced security
In-app prompts to keep convos productive
Post-event contact exchange (mutual only)
Sponsor-friendly branding overlays

Social Mixers

Social Mixers

Tired of mixers where nobody actually talks? Scorecard mixers let attendees check in, see their compatibility scores, and heart the people they are interested in. If both hearts go out, they get contact details. No more missed connections. The host has built-in prompts to keep conversations flowing.

Compatibility scorecards on attendee phones
"Heart" / mutual-match flow built in
Live host prompts to break ice
Engagement tracking, find the wallflowers
Mix and match: dating, friending, networking
Door staff and check-in built in

Group Dinners

Group Dinners

Some of the best events are not speed-anything. They are a long table, a good menu, and the right six to ten people. The dinner engine seats guests by compatibility, captures dietary needs at sign-up, and pushes prompts to the table so the conversation never stalls between courses.

Dedicated seating algorithm (not just speed-pair logic)
Table capacity and group preference rules
Dietary needs and meal selection at RSVP
Per-table conversation prompts
Optional mid-dinner seat rotation
Works for founder dinners, supper clubs, alumni nights

Pitch Nights

Pitch Nights and Pitch-a-Friend

The format that will not stop trending: friends pitch their single friends, the room votes, the highest-rated pitches go home with matches. Built-in pitch voting (five stars, unique voter ID), live rankings, and the same mutual-match exchange flow that powers our dating events.

Pitch submission and queueing
5-star audience voting with unique-voter-ID
Live rankings, revealed on your timing
Mutual-match exchange after voting closes
Custom pitch prompts (sober, queer, by industry)
Engagement and reaction tracking per pitch
Everything in the box

A platform you will use every week, built by people who use it every week.

Twelve of the things you would otherwise hack together with three different tools and a Google Sheet. There is more under the hood, you will see the rest on the call.

The whole experience runs under your brand and your domain. Nobody sees TNFM, they see you.

Who this is for

Three kinds of operators show up here.

We have onboarded people running their hundredth mixer and people running their first. Same platform, slightly different first conversation.

For the upgrade buyer

Already running mixers on paper and spreadsheets.

You know the format. You just want the chaos handled: check-in, pairings, match notifications, the whole loop, without giving up your voice. Easy migration; we run them every week.

For the expansion buyer

Already running events. Ready to add matchmaking.

Run clubs, supper clubs, alumni groups, faith communities. Matchmaking slides into what you are already doing. New revenue, same audience.

For the entrepreneur

Starting an IRL events business from scratch.

Pick your city, pick your audience, we hand you the tech. Exclusive territory licensing, hands-on onboarding while the program is still in early days. Claim your city before someone else does.

How it works

Claim your city. Run events in under a week.

No multi-month integration. No setup fees. We have done this enough times to make onboarding boring on purpose.

Claim your city

Pick the city, sign the contract.

Thirty minute call. Pick your city, pick your format, sign the contract. That is the whole step.

We build your site

Your branded site, live in 24 hours.

Your domain, your colors, your event flow. We wire it up. You walk into your first configuration session with everything already set.

You run your first event

Sell tickets. Run the event. Settle the books.

We are on Slack with you through the first few events. You get a private network of operators across the country to swap ideas with. Exclusive territory means no competition, just collaboration.

Pricing

Per attendee. No platform fees. No surprises.

You only pay when you sell tickets. No monthly fee, no per-organizer license, no integration cost. Straight per-head.

FAQs

The questions we get on every call.

More on the contact page. If yours isn't here, ask on the call.

How are matches actually made?
Our algorithm pairs people based on the custom profile questions you design. You decide which questions matter for matching (orientation, deal-breakers, interests) and which are informational only. The engine then guarantees every group has a valid pair: no stranded attendees, no awkward odd-one-outs.
Can attendees get instant match results, or is there a delay?
You control when match notifications go out. We recommend sending them one to two hours after the event, once all attendees have left and the energy has settled. You can also send them in real time mid-event if that is the experience you are going for.
Does it work for every kind of preference?
Yes. You can build as many custom questions and matching rules as you want: hetero, LGBTQ+, faith-aligned, industry-specific, hobby-specific, anything. We have seen book clubs, founder dinners, sober mixers, polyam events. Same engine.
What if someone shows up forty minutes late?
Late check-in is built in. The system slots latecomers into upcoming pairings without disturbing the rounds already in progress, and tracks who they've already met so they don't get awkward repeats.
Do I need a tech background to host an event?
No. We have built the system to be embarrassingly user-friendly. No coding, no headaches. Anything tricky, we handle. You focus on running a great event.
How long does onboarding take?
Less than 24 hours after signing the contract. You will have a fully customized site, your domain, your branding. We walk you through your first event before it goes live.
Can I use my own branding?
Absolutely. The technology runs under your brand, your name, your domain, your colors. Attendees never see TNFM. They see you. The whole point is that you look like the platform, not someone running on rented infrastructure.
Stop hand-pairing attendees

Stop hand-pairing attendees. Start running events you would actually want to attend.
